BECAUSE SOMETIMES YOU JUST NEED A BOUQUET: I am so excited to introduce this new collection! I have always loved cut flowers and these collaged bouquets and dancing blooms are full of whimsy. When you look closely at the petals you will see the nuance of the shadows and textures in each cut paper piece.

This series was inspired by my love of fashion and nature. Created using cut paper pieces from media publications, capturing the light, drape, and form of textiles individual petals pieced together to create unique cut flowers. I love the juxtaposition of the precisely cut paper with the whimsy of the loose, freehand oil pastel vessels, initially sketched in graphite.
