Lauren Kacmarcik is an abstract artist based out of Wilmington, NC.  Primarily working in acrylics, she utilizes bold color palettes, expressive brushstrokes and storytelling layers to evoke emotion and contemplation in her work. While much of her work can take the form of very loose florals or landscapes, she leaves the interpretation up to the viewer, inviting them to decide what to see and feel. Lauren draws inspiration from her lifelong love of interior design, the coastal cities in which she has lived, and a general fascination with the relationship of color and form.
