This series was inspired by my love of fashion and nature. Created using cut paper pieces from media publications, capturing the light, drape, and form of textiles individual petals pieced together to create unique cut flowers. I love the juxtaposition of the precisely cut paper with the loose, freehand oil pastel vessels, initially sketched in graphite. Fun fact about this piece: Each petal piece is from the Spring 2020 Clare V catalog!
